There are many reasons why I'd choose not to date someone. I might think they are cute, but they are too young/old for me. Or they have kids. Or they are too short (sorry). Or they live in a different country.
The picture I see only gives me only two variables for a person: looks and age. I don't know if someone is funny, or any of the other options for "yes I'd date." And often I get asked if I'd date people who are only my friends. There's no option to say, "no, because they're my friend."
