Would that be the same server that the wiki is on now by any chance? Couple of reasons for the question - one of which could be; any use for some wiki integration? see: http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins/PhpBb3LinkPlugin another would be a question about a domain name for the forum host? > * Let's do forums (for chandler-users), but really only if we do > bidirectionally gateway-to-mailing-lists. > > * I'm around and interested in supporting a backend for a Chandler forum > implementation. Would you like some help supporting the front end? Which is a way of saying I can volunteer to help on this, it always comes down to time however. > * I like phpBB+gateway plugin (see www.storagereview.com), but probably > best will be vBulletin. > OK - took a quick look at storagereview, it doesn't appear they are using phpBB but rather ip.board. Not sure about a mail gateway for that package. Checked on vBulletin and there is a community package that offers it. Checked on the status of m2f mod for phpBB3 - hmmm, project seems to have stalled and they are looking for developers to help. They haven't made an official release, there is supposedly a basic functionality currently available now. I pulled their current code base down form sf.net but haven't had any time to look it over. ( Will try to get into more depth over the weekend ) You can find information at their blog - http://mail2forum.com/2008/04/29/an-introduction-to-m2f-20-code/#more-6 Looked at Fudforum (http://fudforum.org) they seem to have the functions right out of the box - never worked with this package however. I guess the bottom line is this - I am willing to help out on this - not willing to take it on alone for sure because of other commitments, but as long as there are a 2 or 3 active folks to spread the load then absolutely. Till later then, Drew _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list unsubscribe here: http://lists.osafoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/chandler-users Chandler wiki: http://chandlerproject.org/wikihome
