Hey Mimi,
Thanks for your feedback, I'll put together some screenshots of the
workflow and get them to you.

Thanks for the report Rob. Screenshots would be great. Would love to
turn this into a blog post if you're okay with that.
As for the re-architecture project, we're a ways off having actual
end-user functionality. But, when we do get there, I imagine
discussions will happen both on the users list and the chandler-
development mailing list: http://lists.osafoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/chandler-dev

Hey everyone,
Just three things to pop in and say...
1. I'm running Chandler on my work machine (Mac mini - 10.5.5), 12"
PowerBook (10.5.5) and an IBM ThinkPad (Fedora 10). I add new notes
via the iPhone QE app, which I've waxed lyrical about before.
I have made a hub account and defined collections so myself and
colleagues can share data.
I followed the instructions for defining the CalDAV account in iCal
and was pleasantly surprised by the ease and functionality I get. I
actually use it exclusively for the time dependent notes now as
Chandler Desktop is lacking somewhat in the calendaring area and
this closes the circle nicely.
However and this rocks my world, I have discovered that ALL the
Notes in these hub-based collections appear in the ToDo section of
Mail.app in 10.5!
This mean I can manage EVERYTHING from Mail and iCal. I still use
the Chandler Desktop app but it's not my primary tool which means I
slim down my workflow.
Has anyone else used this? Am I looking a bit silly by raving about
it?
I can send screenshotsof how good this looks if anyone wants to see?
2. Mailing list systems...
All the comment on whether to have user group mailing lists on
Gname or Nibble or MyLittleMailingListServer sometimes seems a bit
beside the point of the forum for users for chandler. <commence
flame>
3. The Re-architecture project.
I'd love to hear more about the scope and intention of this. The
info on the blog seems bit nebulous and I have a concern that user
input may not get through on one hand and lead to the dangers of
feature creep on the other.
Is there a specific forum for actual users of Chandler to comment
in an anecdotal way on our usage patterns and some real world needs?
Regards
Rob
