I used the recipe for Ubuntu Hardy Heron without modifications. So
I would state that build notes for Ubuntu 8.04 and 8.10 are the same.
I also needed the additional packages as listed for Gutsy Gibbon
plus python-docutils. It is not quite obvious from the notes under
Hardy Heron, that these are needed.
You have actually to remove libicu-dev (38). Therefore the entry in
the list "For full build you also need" for libicu-dev should
probably have a statement that this only applies to Ubuntu versions
older than 8.x (as long as Chandler/its dependencies uses an older
version).
