Hi,
I'm building Chandler from source on my 64-bit Intrepid Ibex system. I ran
into this error during make world:
EGG CREATION FAILED
===========================================================
/usr/local/chandler/chandler/release/RunPython setup.py egg_info failed
with error code 1
===========================================================
make[1]: *** [install-en] Error 255
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/chandler/chandler'
make: *** [world] Error 2
I should note that I modified the setup.py script in /chandler/chandler by
importing setuptools from
/chandler/external/zanshin/zanshin-171/ez_setup.py. I also modified the
default version of setuptools in ez_setup.py from 0.6c1 to 0.6c9 (because
the former wasn't available at http://pypi.python.org/pypi).
