<http://status.isc.org/> shows a recent/exceptional outage and a glance at
<http://chandlerproject.org/script/getIrcTranscript.cgi?channel=chandler&date=20090428>
suggests that a subsequent reboot was required. Certainly, at one point
there was an issue with name servers.

See 'Want to run your own Server?' at <http://chandlerproject.org/>.

ISC and OSAF services are usually fine. I should recommend keeping bookmarks
to relevant chat rooms:

<irc://irc.freenode.net/#chandler>
<irc://irc.freenode.net/#cosmo>

— it was in one of the rooms that I drew attention to the name service
issue.
