This problem of mailing list moderation backlog has been definitively solved by our two fine volunteer moderators: Jos Yule and Graham Perrin Thanks a ton, guys, it's been very helpful! These two are co-moderating the list; I never really gave any instructions on the task but they've apparently worked out a solid system for keeping the mailing list flowing.
