Morning.

I’ve been using Chandler extensively for over a year as my main organizer
(desktop only, not hub), and have loved it. I have been putting everything
into it – work tasks, personal appointments, my staff’s availability,
reminders… I have been suggesting to everyone I know – whether they have
asked or not.

This morning, I opened up Chandler and my entire data repository has
disappeared. I’m down to what appears to be the sample data set that comes
with a Chandler install. Everything was fine yesterday.

When I started it up, I got an error the first time; I restarted it
normally, and now this. However, I’ve been getting an error when starting
Chandler up regularly for months now, about not being able to assign the
selected port. I haven’t paid much attention to it, as it always starts up
afterwards when I try again. (I have believed the error is caused by a port
conflict with Skype, but haven’t looked into it much.) It looks like it
might be related to this bug:

Do I have any hope of recovering my data here? Where does the automatic
export upon shutdown save its data? (Windows XP SP3, Chandler 1.0.3.) (I
should also mention that I closed Chandler and re-opened it after noticing
the data loss.)

It would be very painful for me to lose it; the most recent backup I
explicitly made is 2 months old now. Any help anyone can provide would be
greatly appreciated.

Rémi
