I posted some messages last week about bad recovery.
I am using Mac OS X 10.5.7 on a MacBook and chandler 1.0.3
This morning, coming back from week end chandler doesn't want to open
up... again...
That time nothing special happened when I closed chandler on friday evening.
Actually I even made sure everything was ok and did a backup.
Also I went through all alternative boot options only the "erase all and
start from new empty database" worked...
I loaded my friday evening chex backup and I am back.
I spent some hours last week understanding those mechanisms and ther are
actually not working...
So... I am sorry guys I love Chandler but what's wrong with it ?
The database management seems really buggy... The f*****g db repository
looks terribly sensitive..
Of course I can backup from chex file but I don't want to do this once
per week !
Do I do anything wrong (I don't think so) ?
Should I wait for a new version ?
I am close to put chandler in a bin and never use it again.
Please tell me I am wrong.
