I _WANT_ this! (For my co-workers, more than for me :) (And ultimately for all users of Chandler Project, of course :)) OK, it's time for shameless BRIBERY. I have a very few spare invitations (nominations) for Google Wave Preview. I'm willing to give one to the first person who comes up with a suitably simple page for re-purposing. If two or three people combine efforts, one invitation per person. Muahahahahaha! The page should ideally: a) work well without a mouse b) when re-purposed: fit neatly into a widget, not too large, that may float above the desktop (and possibly, above other windows; not necessarily constrained to the Dashboard of Mac OS X) c) be tactile (I imagine a future touchscreen device from Apple). A balance between compactness for (b) and size for (c) may be tricky, and there's some guesswork to the Apple side of point (c), so let's not treat (c) as an obstacle to development. It may be that Jeffrey's design fits all three criteria already :) > Like most things, i've had something similar on my plate to create for > some time, but, time is time, and i never have enough. > > i'd bet that re-doing the google widget in a non-google way wouldn't be > _too_ time consuming... If you don't try it, you'll never know ;) Page, please. Anyone. Pretty please. And if Google Wave Preview is not the bribery you want, then I might find something more interesting, less nebulous. Chat to me off-list. Yours shamelessly, Perrin, G. PS, dreaming ludicrously that someone from Apple will read this post and send me a future-device for evaluation subject to NDA. -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/Try-out-the-iGoogle-Quick-Entry-widget-tp3100144p3827506.html Sent from the Chandler users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list unsubscribe here: http://lists.osafoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/chandler-users Chandler wiki: http://chandlerproject.org/wikihome
