Hi all I've deployed a Chandler Server/Client system in our office.
The server we use is Ubuntu LTS 8.04 with Chandler server v1.1.0. I've used as data base backend MySQL installed following the instructions from the wiki [1] All the clients are Windows XP SP3 with the same language configuration (spanish international). Linux clients are expected to subscribe in a future. The subscriptions in the clients are done via tickets. The *problem* we have is that when a user creates an event, the text in the note is shown rightly with all the "special spanish characters" even after a sync with the server; but when another user opens the same event then the "special spanish characters" are shown wrong. After that even the user which has created the note sees those characters bad too. The database was created with UTF-8 encoding as indicated in the howto [1]. I believe I've checked everything in the system so I'm sure I¡m missing something obvious. Any help would be appreciated. I don't know how to determine what's wrong so please ask me whatever thing you want me to check or do to find what's the problem.
