The checkpoint version at <http://downloads.osafoundation.org/chandler/checkpoints/20091016/> (mentioned at <http://n2.nabble.com/-tp3914600p3914953.html> and <http://n2.nabble.com/-tp3840383p3866252.html>) seems very stable to me, with Mac OS X 10.6.x (64-bit, 32-bit kernel and extensions).
That checkpoint version: more stable, for me and for my colleagues, than earlier released versions of Chandler Desktop with Mac OS X 10.5.x (PowerPC and Intel).
