Dear Chandler Project: I don't know if you've received the error messages I've sent, because I get a grayed-out box saying "failed to send." So I'll try by email.
I downloaded Chandler for windows 1.0.03 today but it won't load. The installer seemed to work fine, and at the end brought up a read-me file. But clicking on the icon to start the program (either the one on the desktop or the one under Start | Programs | Chandler) brought up this "Internal Program Error" box every time. And in the "start-up options" box, choosing to continue with normal startup (since I had no data in the file) didn't work either. The log of the error report is below. I couldn't figure out from the website how to contact you. I hope this email address is the correct one. By the way, what is the date of this release? Thanks, Catrina Neiman [email protected] INTERNAL PROGRAM ERROR log: Seconds since last error: 44 Chandler Version: 1.0.3 OS: nt Platform Type: win32 Platform Details: Windows-XP-5.1.2600 Architecture: Python Version: 2.5.1 (r251:54863, Apr 11 2009, 05:21:42) [MSC v.1310 32 bit (Intel)] Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Program Files\Chandler1.0.3\Chandler.py", line 101, in main return realMain() File "C:\Program Files\Chandler1.0.3\Chandler.py", line 80, in realMain app = wxApplication(redirect=redirect, useBestVisual=useBestVisual) File "C:\Program Files\Chandler1.0.3\release\bin\lib\site-packages\wx\_core.py", line 7901, in __init__ self._BootstrapApp() File "C:\Program Files\Chandler1.0.3\release\bin\lib\site-packages\wx\_core.py", line 7498, in _BootstrapApp return _core_.PyApp__BootstrapApp(*args, **kwargs) File "C:\Program Files\Chandler1.0.3\application\Application.py", line 377, in OnInit options) File "C:\Program Files\Chandler1.0.3\application\Utility.py", line 1106, in openRepositoryOrBackup logger.info('Repository open failed with ' + str(err)) File "c:\program files\chandler1.0.3\release\bin\lib\site-packages\chandlerdb-0.7_37-py2.5-win32.egg\chandlerdb\persistence\RepositoryError.py", line 71, in __str__ return self.__doc__ %(self.args[0], self.args[1]) TypeError: int argument required
