Job Description: Lead a team of BMC Remedy Developers to maintain and enhance the ITSM and Atrium applications that include Incident, Change, Problem, SR, CMDB, Analytics, AIE. For more details please see the attachment. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Implementing tool requirements using programming constructs found within BMC Remedy AR System including mid-tier and ITSM; to extend existing OOB functionality and develop new functionality to support requirements using Remedy code and API as well as .net and other technologies. Coding and architectural practice development and review for team members · Should have a good understanding of the integration capabilities of the AR System including mid-tier and the Help desk, Change, Problem, Task, SLM, SRM, Reporting and Analytics and have a working knowledge of the Remedy API, web services and standard relational database concepts. REQUIREMENTS: · Previous large scale architecture & engineering of BMC Remedy AR System including mid tier a must, with at least 2 years experience at a similar sized company. This should include customization of ITSM as well as custom application development on the Remedy platform. · Eight years of experience performing Software Development/Engineering or customization of third party products. Must be able to Develop and support software applications completely and on schedule. Excellent understanding of the SDLC processes, SCM using Clearcase/ClearQuest and experience working with QA team that uses automated test tools like Rational Functional Test. · Five years of experience with multiple operating systems including Windows, Unix/AIX, as well as middleware products such as IIS, Websphere, Tomcat, Apache etc.. · Requires in depth knowledge of XML, SQL, Java Script. Knowledge of .net, C++, C# and Java would be an advantage. · Experience with Data Modeling and API´s is essential. · Knowledge and experience with HTML, ASP/JSP, and JavaScript. · Experience with Service Level Performance reporting; and Incident, Problem and Change Management. · ITIL Foundations Certification essential, Practitioner certification would be a plus · Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with customers, system administrators, team members, and management and use sound judgment when considering enterprise impacts of technical decisions. Excellent writing skills with the ability to document applications · Ability to quickly acquire and apply related new technologies · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. Master’s degree in computer science/engineering will be a plus.
