Idexcel's client is looking for “*Lead .Net Developer*” to join their team on a contract basis. Please send the updated resume along with the details to *[email protected] <[email protected]> .* *Harrisburg, PA,* *6 Months,* *Phone+In-person.* *Job Description:* The Technical Specialist is a senior level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in highly advanced web applications development using the .NET framework. The resource will be responsible for supporting and expanding the agency's portal, and its associated applications, built on the .NET 4.0 framework. The resource will be assigned to bug fixes as needed, implementing new features, and optimizing existing code. The resource may be invoved with migrating the source code to .NET 4.5.1. *Examples of Work:* • Serves as a team lead and resident expert in the design and development of solutions in the .NET framework and supporting database systems. • Will investigate, analyze, and assist in the resolution of IT problems using the .NET framework. • Will be required to develop custom applications to meet the business needs of the Department. • Will be required to analyze existing .NET applications and make modifications to these systems. • The resource must have expertise with large scal in-memory data management, data security, and asynchronous processing (both client and server-side). *Specific Duties:* • Make recommendations to management team on system enhancements, upgrades and other life cycle changes required to meet the needs of the agency and keep the environment up to date with industry standards and best practices. • Develop new .NET solutions to meet specific agency business needs. • Assist in the management, maintenance and documentation of .NET environment. • Assist with supporting third party business applications and support tools related to the agency's portal. *Education:* Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with major coursework in information technology or a closely related field is required.
