Informatica Developer / Data Analyst Number of Openings: 3 Location: Stevens Point, WI Bill Rate Range to Harvest: Our client, a large, reputable company is looking for several Informatica Developers / Data Analysts to join their team in Stevens Point, WI on a contract basis. There are 3 projects, and the contract duration will depend on the project you are best suited for. As an Informatica Developer / Data Analyst, you will assume primary responsibility for creating Informatica mapping technical design specifications based on functional designs and business requirements, as well as development and unit testing of these Informatica mappings. Based on technical designs, you will develop and test the required components in T-SQL. This will include working with IT Data Analysts and subject matter experts in a team environment to interpret the requirements and designs. You will participate in the integration, system and performance testing of new and existing Informatica mappings and SQL Server stored procedures. In this role, you will need to have the ability and willingness to perform analysis and defect resolution with limited guidance. Also, you will provide detailed input on technical decisions regarding design, testing, and maintenance, as well as produce documentation of the processes and code developed to support the above efforts. Requirements: * Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. * Very strong Informatica ( 9.0 and above ), including experience with: developing / updating mappings, sessions and workflows; Router, Union transformation types; Normalizer, Filter, Joiner, Lookup, Stored Procedure, Aggregator, HTTP and Sorter transformation types; Expression syntax; Source Qualifier transformations configured to use SQL Select statements as an override; Creating / Updating parameter files; Debugging and understanding session error logs; Integration testing and system testing of mappings; and performance tuning. * Experience in using SQL Server 2008 to select, update and delete statements; performance tuning; and Stored Procedure Development. * Experience in technical design specification creation; reading of data models, specifically star and snowflake schemas; test plan creation and execution; batch processing environments. * Insurance / Financial industry experience is STRONGLY preferred. * Experience with data warehouses or data marts is highly desired. * Pluses: Pre SQL and Post SQL functionality; Familiarity with reusable objects; Trigger development; Familiarity with Informatica's slowly changing dimension functionality. ================================================================= ACCOUNT MANAGER NOTES: HEADLINE: Informatica Dev/Data Analyst w/exceptional comm; very strong Informatica 9.0+, SQL Server 2008; technical design specification creation; reading of data models, specifically star & snowflake schemas; test plan creation & execution; & Insurance/Financial industry exp. (STRONGLY PREFERRED); who will work in Stevens Point, WI on a contract basis. They have 3 openings for this profile, as there are 3 different projects with slight nuances, but the skill set/experience needed is similar. The contract duration will depend on which project the candidate is better suited for. The most immediate project will start mid-February and run through April 2014. The 2nd project will start late Feb. (by 3/3 at the latest), and run through July 2014. The 3rd project will start late Feb. (by 3/3 at the latest), and run through April 2015. Insurance/financial industry experience is HIGHLY PREFERRED. In the past, candidates with this experience are much more likely to get interviewed. If they don't have Informatica 9.1.0, that's fine if they have 9.0 experience, as there aren't too many differences. Written and verbal communication skills are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. The resume submittal deadline to the client is end of business on Wednesday, 2/5, but they will most likely start scheduling interviews as they receive resumes.
