*Mandatory skills:*

·         Depth in understanding and application of ITIL v3 concepts (ITIL
v3 foundation certification is a must)

·         Hands on experience working with configuration management data
and/or processes.

·         Incident, Problem, Change management knowledge is an added
advantage

·         Experience with Config tooling and configuration management
databases, especially HP Service Manager & the uCMDB

·         Familiarity with development/source code management (SCM)
processes

·         Code merging, branching, defect tracking mechanism is an added
advantage

·         The role requires a proactive approach to managing the usage of
Configuration Item artifacts in HP Service Manager Records and supports a
continuous improvement strategy in providing accurate recording of
information and the related analysis of the service management Product
Solutions(DC2/3)

*Specific skills:*

·         Able to handle large volumes of data to conduct routine audits
Considerable experience with Excel, doing data validation/comparisons,
writing macros, formulas, etc. Strong desire for quality data and willing
to own their, book of business, Ability to identify data anomalies, analyze
the problem and determine how to correct

·         Ability to work with cross functional teams to collect and
validate information

·         Ability to execute with less/no supervisory assistance and
escalate leadership as needed

·         Enhance Product Solutions Config Team CI tracking
processes(internal share point work) to reduce manual entry/redundancy
Implement a monthly audit for all Product Solutions Config data to
proactively identify and correct data discrepancies Validate the end-to-end
config data in the uCMDB for all of Product Solutions application

·         Ability to explain complex subjects in an easily understandable
manner

·         Self-initiative to drive tasks to completion

·         Customer centric approach, with a desire to keep things simple
for the customer

·         Ability to balance competing priorities

·         Ability to consume high frequency of changes in the environment
(process & tooling)

·         Ability to learn quickly and apply the information on the job <<

any new tooling Develop education & training materials to support day to
