Please have a look at following urgent requirement and reply me back if you are comfortable with the requirement: *Position: Linux Admin* *Location: Creve Coeur, MO* *Duration: 5+ months* *Description* A contract vacancy exists for an Implementation engineer in the Platform Group Operations Implementation Team Specifically this role will involve working / assisting on deploying various projects currently being implemented by the Platform Group Operation’s team. - The position will require the successful candidate to be able to multi task across numerous initiatives related to new and existing projects utilizing linux and Windows technical skills. This position requires the selected engineer to show initiative in creative technical problem solving individually and to work collaboratively with different teams such as Storage Management and Network Management to implementing technical IT solutions. Collaboration is required with other teams to create and document processes and procedures related to the IT solution for ongoing support and maintenance. As such, the candidate will need to prioritise and manage work load accordingly, to deliver to schedule the key parts or tasks assigned to them in support of the project and timeline. - An advantage for the successful candidate to have is experience in both Linux (Oracle 5.x/6.x) and Windows 2008/12 operating systems. Primary skill set will be Linux. - This is an exciting opportunity to provide your input while building a number of medium to large scale production environments and helping to create new product offerings for our customers. - The role is focused on implementing applications and OS utilities and middleware “above the base OS” install rather than OS installation and administration.
