The component has project and service work that can begin now. The team is currently at capacity and the request for an external resource to fill the gap is needed as soon as possible. Role: Cognos Developer is responsible for development, testing, implementation and support of Cognos and TM1 Solutions. Responsibilities · Develop, test, implement, and support Cognos and TM1 applications / cubes in support of business needs · Serve as a Cognos and/or TM1 developer on projects. · Provide design input in order to develop robust Cognos and TM1 applications. · Understand the requirements and translate that into technical processes. Key Skills/Competencies · Experience on Cognos and TM1 with one full cycle of implementation. · Experience in supporting Cognos and TM1 applications. · Experience in working with Lead Cognos Developer in developing Cognos and TM1 solutions · DW and OLAP tools experience will be an advantage. · Experience in cube design, and OLAP application design using IBM TM1 · Experience/knowledge of Cognos and TM1 Rules and TM1 processes · Experience/knowledge in using Cognos and TM1 in conjunction with Data Warehouse · Strong problem solving skills · Ability to work within a team environment Team Responsibilities · Attend daily team huddle meetings. · Understand impact of project development work on service. · Understand the impact of service incidents and/or problem records on in flight project work. · Develop, test, and implement Cognos and TM1 components in applicable environments.
