Position:Voip/UC Engineer Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6-8+ Months and long *Must have US Citizen or GC Holder or H1B* *Must Have Experience in Jabber, Collaboration and Call Manage* Summary: The Enterprise Voice Network Consulting Engineer provides Cisco Unified Communications consulting expertise for strategic large customers. The NCE skills range from detailed technical knowledge of a Collaboration system architecture to application specific business needs. Solution Architect: SA Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Thought leadership, trusted advisor business skill sets on both Internal Initiatives and Customer Projects Globally. Develop Advanced Technical depth and knowledge above the standard UC core Infrastructure and Solutions. Develop and Deliver the most highly complex and specialized Collaboration Architectures and strategies. Work closely with the BU’s, SME and TME’s to drive superb customer Advocate leadership. SA Core Technology Skills required: In addition to deep and broad expertise in Unified Communications industry, two or more technology domain expertise (network/ infrastructure, data, applications/middleware, security). Fluency in network technologies. Fluency in high availability, security, and operational disciplines (systems management, change management, etc.) Strong cross-protocol platform experience in several of the following ( H.323, SIP, PBX, Centrex, IP ) Proven track record in an industry or horizontal solution area. Voice application architecture knowledge, including but not limited to: POTS, PBX and Key Systems, Centrex, Voicemail, Unified Messaging, Contact Center, Conferencing, and Rich Media. Create intellectual property that can be shown to accelerate deployments and reduce deployment or operational costs Ability to work cross-functional with multiple business units and solution teams to leverage multiple technologies in creating end to end and/or vertical specific solutions for our customers. Correlates business issues around technology and processes and is able to create an architectural solution specific to a given customer or segment. Able to articulate this vision across Executives and Technical Decision Makers.
