Client expects Drupal to be one of the leading Content Management Systems. Client will provide a common Drupal distribution for use by clients, who can use this distribution to start any Drupal based initiative with a common set of functionality and look and feel. By creating this distribution, the client will reduce the amount of replicated work needed to stand up a Drupal web sites (such as authentication and authorization, common functionality such as calendars, multimedia, team profiles, etc.). It will also allow the client to provide support services for this core distribution, resulting in reduced support cost for clients on site.
