Location: Redmond WA. Client: MSFT. 18 Months Contract Role. *Client Interview today or tomorrow.* *Locals Preffered* *Job description:* 9- 10+ years of IT with experience as a Sr DevOps Engineer. Cloud Expereince: Azure, Windows/Linux Web Expereince: Azure WebSites and Azure Cloud Services (node.js/ .NET) Development: Visual Studio 2015 Programming: .net, c sharp, Java script, BASH Database: Documentdb, SQL, MySQL and NoSQL Automation: PowerShell, Visual Studio Team Services (TFS) Repositories: GIT, subversion (GIT primarily) Green Card, US Citizen & those authorized to work in U.S. can apply. Primary Responsibilities Manage configurations in the cloud by building infrastructure to support products and bring up resources for products to use. Building of applications for various environments (dev, staging, production.) Strong grasp of automation tools and scripting to build and deploy applications. Regularly interface with developers and team members for capacity and architecture planning Communicating and collaborating with others across the various teams Monitor application and system health, provide metrics Technical Experience Scripting (PowerShell) and allocation of Azure (cloud) resources + infrastructure along with subscription management. Script and deployment of applications on Azure Script/automate application builds and deployments in Visual Studio Team Services (or equivalent tool.) Script/automate testing to satisfy build/deployment requirements. Facilitating monitoring and analysis of running environments (dev, staging, production.) Various machine maintenance (Windows Server or Linux) Manage certifications, keys and domain names for the environments Backup and recovery best practices and policy setting. With Regards!!
