This is a 6 month contract to hire so they must be released to go perm after 6 months and they must be a USC or GC! Interviews are TODAY! Skype -- 5pm and 6pm EST/2pm and 3pm PST! *Position duties and responsibilities:* · Onsite in Mountain View, CA · Executes server hardware and Windows/Linux operating system configuration changes in support of complex and routine projects. · Engages in a wide variety of second level systems troubleshooting tasks including infrastructure hardware, software, and security issues via the company trouble ticketing system and escalation process. · Installs and configures new and replacement server devices including hardware, operating systems, third party software, and physical infrastructure. · Participates in troubleshooting large, complex, multi-team issues impacting N-Tier Client Server and SOA applications. · Supports technology and software development teams with server and production application related questions and issues. · Responds to and drives to resolution any critical production issues reported during assigned on-call rotations. · Integrates new standards, specifications, and technologies into existing processes and methodologies. · Leverages in-house and outside resources for training and shares knowledge acquired with the team. *Required technical skills/experience:* · 4+ years MS SQL Server (2012) database administration · 4+ years MS Server (2012) system administration · 2+ years MS Powershell scripting · 2+ years Linux (RedHat/CentOS) system administration *Optional technical skills/experience:* · 2+ Production software builds and deployments (Windows and/or Linux) · 2+ DevOps experience (scripting, automation, monitoring, tuning) · 2+ years VMWare VSphere v5x+ · 2+ years network administration · 2+ years storage administration *Required non-technical qualifications:* · Experience with problem solving, including the ability to capture, analyze, compare, evaluate, reconcile and order data. · Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships. · Ability and strong desire to learn and master new technology. · Experience working in a fast paced, complex environment with rapidly changing priorities. · Strong written communications skills. · Experience providing regular status updates and working with your leadership to define priorities and expectations. · Ability to work independently and under guidance of senior engineers. · Able to prioritize project, operational and task related work effectively. *Thanks* *Ankit Nagar* *Sr. Recruiter | Source Infotech Inc.
