Job Title: Java Developer Location: Northern VA Duration: 6+ Months Contract to hire *Must have US Citizen or GC HolderMust have stong exp with AWS, Front-End and Back- End* Job Description: Ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of web programming and architecture experience. Candidate will have extensive experience with the design and development of web based applications and enterprise integrations as they will be accountable for the success of both the technical and functional aspects of a given project. Candidate must have excellent time management and communication skills as they will need to communicate with both a technical and non-technical audience. Candidate must have proven experience dealing directly and successfully with individuals outside of the technology organization. Candidate also must have willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Extensive experience with Java/J2EE application design and development Strong experience with Spring Framework (MVC, Web flow, JDBC) Experience with JavaScript libraries and Frameworks (jQuery, AngularJS) Strong Experience with REST, SOAP services Experience with Tomcat, Web Logic, Eclipse Proficient with source-control tools and practices Experience with Agile practices (Scrum Methodology) Required Experience: *AngularJS/NodeJS, Spring/SpringMVC, RESTful web services, and version control using Git, Unit testing. * Preferred Experience: cloud-based deployments (AWS), CICD tools like Jenkins and Chef, ATDD experience, Performance testing via tools like Jmeter, etc and experience delivering on an Agile Team.
