hearing from Dr. Divy Thakkar (he/him). Dr. Thakkar's talk is titled
"Thinking about human-human collaboration with an AI system."


*Description*

I will discuss two of my recent works (CHI 2022, CSCW 2023) that discuss
the collaboration enabled (or not) when AI systems are introduced into the
workflows of multi stakeholder teams with varying data and AI literacies.

*Presenter Bio*

I am a Staff Program Manager at Google Research where I lead Strategy and
Operations for several critical functions, I am one of the founding members
of Google Research India. I lead Google's academic research strategy and
investments in India, Southeast and South Asia. My interests and work sit
at the intersection of Program + Product strategy and research. Some of the
areas my work covers are:

   -

   Connecting dots between Academia and Google Research through strategic
   programs and investments to advance world-class (collaborative) CS research.
   -

   Strategising and operationalising a world-class AI for Social Good group
   impacting lives at-scale.
   -

   HCI research examining Human-AI interactions in low-resource and/or
   high--stakes environments.
