Hi Brad -- That final else clause is for portals. The gemini case starts at line 25 and the aries case at line 27. That Makefile is a mess and I'm giving myself a task to clean it up.
Michael, a heads-up: Sung came by and was wondering if we depend (for performance) on GASNet using pshm for node-local inter-locale references if we spawn locally (thus oversubscribing) with GASNET_SEGMENT=fast. I'm going to see if I can discover from the documentation whether GASNet does this. If so we'll probably want to refine this change so that we restore that behavior in that case. We may be able to discover something from tonight's testing, too. greg On Tue, 18 Mar 2014, Brad Chamberlain wrote: > > Michael and Greg -- Are you guys pretty confident that the > --disable-pshm-xpmem flag is no longer required for that final else > clause?
