Hi,
I am Jyothi Krishna V S, a Graduate student at Indian Institute of
Technology, Madras. I am working in the in the area of compiler
Optimization for heterogeneous Multicore processors.
I found the Chapel GSoC project ("Compile time warnings for use after free
of stack var"), very interesting and would very much like to be a part of
it and suits my expertise.
I have taken courses on Program analysis and Concurrent Programming. In
Program Analysis course we did a project for OpenMP using rose compiler
framework to identify potential loops that can be parallelized by
introducing barriers or by loop distributions. We used dependence analysis
to find out RAW ,WAR ,WAW dependencies and parallelize the loop using
barriers to remove the dependencies.
