Hi all --
If you'll be attending SC18 next week, consider joining us for one of
these two Chapel-related events:
1) PAW-ATM workshop (Friday, 8:30-noon)
This workshop focuses on application-related work in programming
models that can serve as alternatives to MPI. Features:
* a keynote by Anshu Dubey (Argonne)
* a talk about a Chapel aggregation library being developed by
Louis Jenkins (U Rochester / PNNL)
* a closing panel discussion that I'll be participating in
* talks on Spark, Fortran, Charm++, GASNet-EX, Julia, and others
2) CHUG: annual Chapel Users Group meet-up / happy hour (TBD)
With no tutorial this year and PAW-ATM taking place on Friday, we
don't have an obvious event to attach this to, but are still hoping to
get together sometime during the week. If you're interested in
joining us, please reply to this mail to let me know, particularly if
you have day/time preferences.
In addition to these events, Benjamin Robbins and myself will be around
for most of the week. We hope to see/meet you at one of these events or
around the conference.
Best wishes for SC18 and the rest of the year,
-Brad Chamberlain
Chapel technical lead
