Hello Chapel developers,
This is to inform you that an issue #15680
<https://github.com/chapel-lang/chapel/issues/15680> has been created on
Github which is part of an on-going Google Summer of Code project, "Improve
Mason Package Manager". The feature is about adding a micro-benchmarking
framework in extension to UnitTest Testing framework and also a "mason
bench" command to use the framework in and out of Mason packages. Initial
discussions have already taken place and a basic proposal has been
presented on the issue. This is an important feature for many Chapel users,
so requesting all Chapel developers to kindly contribute to it by giving
their valuable feedback and possible feature requests in comments.
