In an attempt to minimize changes, I ran on the latest
CentOS 7.8
which comes with bison 3.0.5
Note that CentOS 7.6 did not have a sufficiently high version of gettext
needed for automake which itself is needed to build flex, I found that
the Chapel mandated minimum was adequate.
flex 2.6.0
This seemed to be the easiest to retrieve that build on CentOS 7.8. This
did require that I I also install automake 1.14.1 which as noted earlier,
itself demands gettext 0.19.
The changes I made to the parser appear to have worked. No of the basic
checks failed.
All I need to do now is build it with LLVM support and rerun my tests.
