Thanks for the PKD quotes. That last one does
sound a bit Lovecraftian and could apply to the main
charcters of several HPL stories such as "the Call of
Cthulhu", "The Shadow Out of Time", "The Shadow Over
Innsmouth" and "The Dreams in the Witch House" to name
a few.
