Guys I just got one of those good news/annoying news things from my publisher. Pinnacle is going to publish my 450-page nonfic book on monster folklore, but the art budget isn't stretching much beyond the cover. Which leaves me with a lot of gray text and no pics.
So.....I'm trolling for artwork. What I'm looking to do is barter with artists who have one or more pieces of art. The deal is the artists get bylines, a bio and headshot along with contact info in an index in the back of the book, a copy of the book for each pic donated, a bio with art sample and links on the book's official website, and they get to keep full copyright on the art. I can us BW, color, photos, digital art, even pics of models or folks in make-up. I cover 450 different kinds of monsters in the book!
