My stepbrother Orrin is performing in Baltimore April 1st.  Check out his website for more info on his music.  He is a past national flatpicking champion, plays bluegrass and folk type music.  And he tells jokes.  Very entertaining guy.  It's a house concert, I think in Lauraville.  I'm flying out of town the day before, so somebody go check it out and let me know how it goes!

Many thanks to the many of your who showed up for the Jimmy and Orrin show
in Falls Church this past Saturday; it was a large time.

Two quick heads up:

--tonight (3/21) the legendary Earl Scruggs will be appearing for free at the Kennedy Center's
   Millenium Stage from 6-7pm.  (part of a month-long country music celebration gong on there.
    if I wasn't teaching tonight at that time I'd be there.)

--on Saturday April 1st, I will making my first solo appearance in Baltimore since the Truman
   administration (details below). (After my 12-day California tour earlier this month I'm in
   fine solo fettle; get to do a lot of material that I don't with my duos, ie a some fingerstyle
   guitar pieces and other solo numbers).
