Subject: [Chat] Fwd: Crime Alert
Dear dwilliamsjh...@hotmail.com
I am sorry if I alarmed you unnecessarily.
I am now forwarding the entire message that I received from the CVCBD on 3/23
so you can see it in context.
Last night, Major Buzzuro of the Northern District Police spoke at the CVCA
General Membership Meeting about the 3/12 homicide at 26th between Calvert and
St. Paul (subject of a prior CVCBD crime alert) and the 3/15 homicide at 25th
and Howard possibly being gang related. He asked for our help in identifying
incidents of gang and drug activity, graffiti, etc., and calling 911. The
workshop will teach us what to look for and how to obtain a crime watch number
so that we can make 911 calls anonymously.
Residents can sign up for the weekly crime alerts from CVCBD online at their
website www.charlesvillage.org.
Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

What gangs in the district? A brief description of what we should be looking
for would be helpful with an announcement like this...
This totally reminds me of they way they pitch the 11 o'clock news.
"You could be dead tomorrow...details at 11"
