Hello, neighbors, There was a serious stabbing attack on our block. The story we heard is that a man returned home to find an intruder who attacked and stabbed him multiple times. Police arrived about 10 minutes after the 911 call. I saw them wheel the man away on a stretcher. He was conscious and lifted his head. I could see blood on his legs. Somebody heard him joke that he thinks he won't be going to work tomorrow.
Guilford at 31st is taped off as a crime scene and the police just asked everyone to go inside. Nobody we talked to saw the attacker. We have a friend who moved next door just a week ago. She came to Charles Village to find a safer neighborhood.
