Below is a report from the August 24 JHU Security Daily Incident Report. Please forward on to interested persons.

*Theft -- */300 Blk. E 33^rd St. (odd side) -- /On Aug 19^th between 2:15 PM and 4:00 PM, unknown individual(s) removed a UPS package mailed to an undergraduate junior's residence and left outside. A second UPS package had been opened and all contents except for one item were taken. Investigation continuing.

*Aggravated Assault* -- 3000/Blk. Guilford Ave., (even side) -- /On Aug 23^rd at approximately 11:00 PM, a resident (Peabody Alumnus) was awakened after hearing noises. When checking, he encountered a male intruder in his living room. A physical altercation took place and the victim suffered stab wounds from the intruder. The victim and his girlfriend were able to exit the residence and 911 was called. The suspect fled the residence and a search of the area by Baltimore Police and Campus officers yielded negative results. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. It appears the intruder entered the residence through on open kitchen window. Investigation continuing.

*Suspect Description*: Male, Black, 6'00 to 6' 03" in height, slim build, medium complexion, close cut hair, brown eyes, wearing a dark t-shirt and pants.

    ventilation /
  * /Make sure someone cannot reach through an open window and unlock
    the door /
  * /Make sure someone cannot reach inside the window and remove the
