Hmm... I am at a loss to think of any language which does not have
confusing irregularities which "do not add power to the language".
(Though, that said, I am also not actually sure if "power" has an
unambiguous definition, in the context of computer programming
languages. So, I am thinking that "does not add power" might sometimes
be equivalent to "adds discipline". It's hard to say, though. Nothing
worth doing is ever easy (otherwise it would be done already).)

But I do get the whole "nested block" issue - that's a habit you pick
up in other languages. A bad habit, often enough, but a traditional
habit.

Still, an interesting read.
