Bob, The combination of Lab and Videos is very effective, as you suggest and your initiative in connecting these resources is greatly appreciated.
Following your instructions to use jal and get update the Labs is not so easy and that is why I have in the past created "installation" type videos. But my installation videos are very slap-dash and very outdated. I wonder if new users would benefit from updated "installation" videos. The "official" installation instructions are sometimes out of date. For example, at https://code.jsoftware.com/wiki/Guides/Getting_Started the link "download a release" is a dead link: Not Found The requested URL /stable.htm was not found on this server.
