Still the same RGB. I knew only his son and second wife, have several of his books (a couple self published) on my book shelf, and visited his homes in NJ and Vt. (The name Thetford Center doesn't ring a bell, but I stayed at the house with an indoor swimming pool near Dartmouth.) Bob didn't blow his own horn that much, so i am not surprised that you don't recognize the man described in the obit. I didn't realize we had some connection to the BOMARC missile; me only because I worked on SAGE while with IBM.
The part about "strong opinions" should have tipped you off.
