Hi,

I'm using Cherokee 0.8.1 (Arch Linux) and I've added a couple of
vhosts, each with their own PHP FastCGI (with UID) settings, however
php-cgi ends up running as root. I've searched the mailing list etc,
but couldn't find anything related. /usr/sbin/cherokee is chmod +s.

Perhaps I'm doing something that I shouldn't be doing?

The relevant cherokee.conf section:

vserver!20!rule!400!handler = fcgi
vserver!20!rule!400!handler!balancer = round_robin
vserver!20!rule!400!handler!balancer!1!env!PHP_FCGI_CHILDREN = 2
vserver!20!rule!400!handler!balancer!1!host = localhost:4601
vserver!20!rule!400!handler!balancer!1!interpreter = /usr/bin/php-cgi -b 4601
vserver!20!rule!400!handler!balancer!type = interpreter
vserver!20!rule!400!handler!change_user = 1000
vserver!20!rule!400!handler!check_file = 1
vserver!20!rule!400!handler!error_handler = 0
vserver!20!rule!400!handler!pass_req_headers = 0
vserver!20!rule!400!handler!xsendfile = 0
vserver!20!rule!400!match = extensions
vserver!20!rule!400!match!extensions = php
vserver!20!rule!400!only_secure = 0

I also tried using an username instead of the UID.
