It's a very good idea, indeed. +1.

We've worked on the required infrastructure to achieve such goal,  
actually. The upcoming Cherokee 0.98 release provides a new -let's  
call it- web service that will allow Cherokee-admin (and third party  
monitoring applications) to collect information of the server in real  
time. If you have the chance, give the new server_info plug-in a try.

There is one technical problem about that extension module though. If  
cherokee-admin were in charge of plotting the graphics, it'd have to  
be  up and running constantly, otherwise the data about the state of  
the server wouldn't be even read.

IMO, this is a topic worth discussing.  Please, don't hesitate to send
