Yeah, the internal option is an 'option' I guess and it does work
fine.  Unfortunately, I'm trying to migrate an existing dokuwiki
install to cherokee and I don't want to break any of the existing
external links that we have.  The 'internal' dokuwiki option puts
'index.php' in all of the URL's.

Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
