Chaps, what a fantastic web server is Cherokee. Thanks you so much for the hard work. Right now I’m testing it on Magento and I have to say it’s much faster than Apache. All works fine so far but I can’t solve one problem regarding mod rewrite. Of course Cherokee is not supporting .htaccess but I’m sure my problem is very e...asy. The current magento test address is: http://demo.fresh-it-solutions.eu/index.php/furniture.html and work fine but I would like to switch to “Use Web Server Rewrites” which should change address to http://demo.fresh-it-solutions.eu/furniture.html. I know the solutions for Cherokee is Handler: Redirection but I’m not sure how to use it. I will be extremely pleased if somebody can help me with my problem. I'm using Debian 5 and Cherokee 1.0 from src.
