I am using magento and cherokee, and it was super easy to setup, just use the cheroke admin and when you add a virtual server, select platform, then zend, and just continue with the simple questions in the wizard.
Magento is built on top of the zend framework, and the cherokee admin wizard works flawlessly out of the box.
