Assuming you've set it up using flup, you should try uWSGI, it is quite
impressive. This is my result for a small-size site (about 30 users
using a hosting-management panel written in django, involving
postgresql, openldap and file access):

Works quite well.
IMHO, 67Mb for a single python process is quite a big ammount of memory,
what does your application do?
I wonder how tweak the dajngo config so use less memory:
