No, it does not.

To me, it looks like the issue is actually in the back-end application. If it 
was able to handle a stream of incoming data, it could read (small) chunks of 
information and write them to the disk on-the-fly. That is what technologies 
like php do.

Having said that, there is no reason why something similar could not be 
implemented on Cherokee, actually. Please, feel free to log a RFE at the bug 
tracker for it.
