1. I took the latest source and confirm that the testing is
continuing
2. Adding paths to the conf.py didn't really help. I have
tried three scenarios and the output is pretty much the 
same in each case:
   a. conf1.py: default conf.py file with output in test1.out
   b. conf2.py: /usr/local/php is a symbolic link path to php-5.3.5 
   c. conf3.py: Using the direct path /usr/local/php-5.3.5 

In all of the above cases, cherokee failed to detect php-fpm
installed at /usr/local/php-5.3.5
