Hi, I am wanting to help someone migrate to Cherokee from Apache. I need to set some things up and test, and this is a production environment. It will be a reverse proxy to Tomcat Java server. I was thinking I could do the following:
Load Cherokee on the server. Start Cherokee Admin and set it to listen on port 81. Then start Cherokee. (I am assuming after the install, it will not start automatically. It is a Centos machine.) Configure Cherokee to my needs while it is running side by side with Apache. When done. Turn Apache off and switch Cherokee to port 80. Does this sound like the steps I would need to take? Also, not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I looked at the Octality site, do you by any chance offer support plans, or incident support for Cherokee? Did not see anything specific to that. Thanks! Tony Z _______________________________________________ Cherokee mailing list [email protected] http://lists.octality.com/listinfo/cherokee
