We are trying to locate a book that includes information about the family of William Hix who were killed in an Indian massacre. This is the family information: Garrett Hix and Mary Sellers have been traced back to early Kentucky, where his father Wm. Hix settled in 1820. There is a history of Indian blood, tho we traced ancestry to where a history book told detailed info of a massacre by waring indians. Wm Hix parents were killed by Indians, he raised his sisters, app. legal guardian. The original Hix family came from North Carolina.
