Yeah, I think so.
Somebody else mentioned this tranny was a descendent of the T5. As far
as I have read this is incorrect.
The NV3500, NV4500 and NV5600 are recently (1990 and later) designs for
high-torque truck transmissions. The 3500 will not stand up behind a
V8, but the others will and are offered new from GM and Dodge.
Think about it. Is there any chance any variant of the T5 would
survive behind a Cummins Turbo Diesel? No f***ing way!
